Magnol STOU has been designed to cover practically all lubrication requirements on the farm with just one grade of oil. When formulating this grade, special account was taken of equipment manufacturers recommendations and the severe use to which farm implements are subjected. Using quality additives, together with highly refined base oils, Magnol STOU is available as a truly universal lubricant for tractors, combines, agricultural machinery and general farm use.
Applications:
ENGINES: This universal multigrade oil is suitable for all four stroke, naturally aspirated and turbo-charged diesel engines and four stroke petrol engines fitted on farm machinery, where it provides high standards of engine cleanliness and protection for moving parts. The special multigrade properties help overcome starting problems for exposed farm equipment during cold climate conditions and protects against wear from start up, right though to the highest operating temperatures.
HYDRAULICS: Performs well in hydraulic systems on farm machinery, where it protects pumps, system components and rams against wear and corrosion right though the extremes of operating conditions and temperatures. A special anti-foamant additive is incorporated to release entrained air and help prevent sponginess in system operation. This oil has also been formulated for use in hydrostatic transmissions on tractors, combine harvesters, where a universal type product is recommended by the manufacturer.
TRANSMISSIONS: In transmission systems, Magnol STOU helps absorb shock loads and provide high load bearing properties for gears and other components. It can also be used in farm tractors and other plant where the transmission contains oil immersed or “wet brakes”, where it will reduce the tendency for the brakes to squeal or squawk, without impairing brake efficiency.
