Surely one of the most distinctive and idiosyncratic tractors of all time, the Field Marshall was designed to run a belt-driven stationary threshing box. To this end it was made as simple and rugged as possible which led to the choice of a one-cylinder engine of a capacity that in order to start it, a cartridge had to be placed in the head.
